X'mas Party

Hola!@

For the benefit of friends who have been checking regularly for updates, I have failed to log on due to several reasons. Now, I'm happy to be connected again. Phew! We are a bit relieved now that the Holiday Workshop Program is over. Our next event requires tremendous support from friends, family, students and members of the public.

I am talking about a charity event to raise fund to buy new mattresses and couch for 20 children from Trinity Children's Home. Admission is by donation. All food and drinks are sponsored by students, parents and friends who wanted to do more than just "give the money".

In conjunction with this event, Yike and I have literally slaved ourselves to long hours of rehearsals and phone conversations. We have been 'living' in the studio till well past midnight.

Date: 17 December 2006
Time: 5.00 - 9.00pm

Here is the program outline. Be the first to know!

We are beginning to feel like slaves to the Art we so passionately preach about. As Artistic Director, I dare say that the performers, although largely made up of amateurs, are definitely up to standard. My vision of nurturing a generation of performing artists who are better than me and my ancestors may not be so much of a distant dream afterall.

For Kevin Hor & the rest of the better world, there are 2 reasons why I am doing this. Christmas, for me, is about giving, sharing and living in abundance. I believe in practicing this on daily basis but more so on Christmas season. Second, I have met so many talented young people since Living Arts' inception in November 1st. I wanted to channel all these funky, creative energies to one place.

This is definitely the best way to celebrate our Art, our Christmas, in our Studio, with people whom we love and who loves us! Come and feel the love!
